A friend gave me the water color painting in the attached pic. He told me that he copied it from a beer bottle label he found in the UK. Can anyone help me identify the beer that bears this picture on its label? Thanks!

Looks like a Wychwood hobgoblin to me.

Robo is right. They have changed the label, and the guy is in a different pose now, but you can see the old label at:

I drank a Hobgoblin from a brown bottle the other night. It was part of a gift pack that came in a tall embossed can. It contained a very nice Imperial Pint Glass and the brown bottle as well. I noticed that the BA photo is from clear glass. I've seen a lot of the Wychwood brews in clear glass. I wish that they would put them all in brown bottles and I'd be more apt to buy them.

Most of Wychwood's beers are in brown bottles now. I am currently drinking a Wychcraft, which is a very good. Real nice Munich malt character.
