Last night I started on the Jester King beers a friend brought me from Texas. I had the Commercial Suicide, an oaked mild, and Wytchmaker, a rye IPA. Both are excellent and unique beers. I've still got 6 or 7 others, time to try a couple more of them.

I'm drinking a Rogue Northwest Ale and loving it. But $6.50 a bomber is pretty un-economical for a poor boy like me. For another $2 I can get a sixer of SA Boston Lager or Octoberfest, most Sierra nevadas, Deschutes, or Odells'

I'm working this weekend and on call tonight so probably not much, maybe a glass of wine with dinner. Lately I've been drinking mostly homebrewed stuff.

That looks like a pretty powerful lineup, i hope you have nothing planned tomorrow. I just brewed a SMASH-Maris Otter and Goldings and I'm preparing myself for the cleanup with another Rogue bomber, the Good Chit Pilsner.

I was able to visit the Captain Lawrence Brewing tasting room this evening. I like their beers. I tried Creme de la Creme (Pilot Batch 79), 'IP'Session (Pilot Batch 80), Apollo Rises (Pilot Batch 81), 6 N' Change Black IPA, and Liquid Gold - Belgian Gold. I also purchased their St. Vincent Belgian Abbey Ale Vintage 2012 and GOLDEN DELICIOUS: XTRA GOLD AGED IN BRANDY BARRELS. Apple Brandy that is.
