I'm still waiting on that Hop Smilie -- aroma or bittering, Stan?

I like the new looks. I've not had too much time to fool around with the features but I hope to later.

Anyway, could we get the advertisements put on the right side rather than the left?

I'll ask why, but don't get your hopes up. For one thing it doesn't work to put the navigation on the left and the ads on the right.

THIS is VERY cool! And easier to get around in, too. It will take a small adjustment, but it will be worth it in the long run. Thanks for all your hard work Stan!

And oh yeah -- got any T-shirts?

This is the same system and color that one of my goalie boards employs. I hope I don't forget where I am and talk pads instead of carboys.

I guess that I'll be the lone dissenter.

I liked the old site. It was unique. This format is like most other forums that I have seen. Kind of like walking into your favorite pub and finding it has turned into a fern bar.

Just my opinion, I'm sure that I'll get over it.

It's easier to read but I don't like the advertisements on the left either.

Stan -- why's the SPAM becoming more annoying? Something get switched off in the firewall, or do the SPAM sniffers find newly re-organized sites and pounce?

Like anybody cares about the history of Realbeer.com but the color scheme on and design of the discussion boards came first, with the rest of the site following. And I picked the colors, look, etc. (So my feelings aren't hurt.)

We'll likely jazz this up a little when putting other pages in place at Real Beer.

But I'm pretty sure I won't be allowed to pick the colors this time

And, before anybody asks, the reading and writing area will remain black and white. That's a much better idea than I had.

The old version had security issues, as this one eventually will as well.

If people would stop buying stuff from spammers, they'd stop. I blame the bozos who patronize them.

But, back to topic, the change is good. :-)
