    Looking for legit kegs

So the title says it all.... not to restart the debate on this but I'm thinking of going to a scrap yard and rescuing some from the melting pot. How does that rate on the ethics scale? I'm just not one to let something viable/useful go to waste while I buy something "new".

Any other avenues to go about getting a legit keg? Anyone have a spare laying around near AL?
Newbie here, please have mercy beer gods!

The advice I have gotten and I agree is get a receipt. That way you can show you have bought it legit.
