    Another Community Brew?

I was thinking maybe we should plan on doing a community brew sometime this fall or winter? Then we could all drink essentially the same beer for a bit without having to mail it? We could all decide on a beer that is within everyone's expertise converted in both extract and all grain?

I'd like to take part in this. Got anything in particular in mind?

    Fermenting: None
bottled: Old and dusty something rathers
    Secondary: None
Kegged: Carbonated Water (enjoying home made soda syrups)

I was thinking the same thing last weekend. I participated in the first one and one of the guys picked to send me beer actually made his own crockery bottles with Grolsch style lids-I have 2 of them.
The first obstacle is picking a style acceptable to everybody-I'll drink and enjoy anything except imperial IPA's and over the top styles. I'd love to do anything that has widespread appeal and can be don without having to lager.
It's always time for a beer

    On tap:Oatmeal Stout, ESB
    Primary:Imperial HoppyRoggenbier
    Bottled:2006 crabapple cider,Cherry Brett,Black Braggot,2 Prickly Pear Meads(1996 and 2006),Sour Pumpkin
    Lagering: Pecan Rauchbock
    Secondary: apple cider vinegar

I like it. I was going to say either that or a brown ale, but Scottish sounds great.

Now's the time where I ask a dumb question. How's this work?

we work out a recipe, extract and all grain so anybody can participate, then within a given time frame everybody brews it. Then we send a couple of our bottles to other people who participated. If it's just a few of us we can send a couple of bottles to every person, if it's a lot there's a way to randomly pick 2 or 3 people to send to.
