It's Gnome Week. Yes, it is.
Come out and Chouffe it up tonight.
We're going to be pouring both La Chouffe (a delicious 8% Belgian golden ale) and the hoppier, 9% Houblon Chouffe. We also have a keg of Gnomegang, golden ale that was brewed at Ommegang in New York using the d'Achouffe yeast. At 9.5%, with a fine, full carbonation, Gnomegang is worth checking out. We'll also have a bunch of Gnome schwag courtesy of Duvel/ Moortgat honcho Brian Hackler; another swing at an (oft rumored, seldom realized) appearance by the Chouffe girls, and you can go big and have an enhanced gnomexperience by downloading the "Summon the Chouffe" app on your phone. You gnome you want it.

In other beer-related news, we are tapping another keg of the Firestone Walker PNC beer today, as well as a keg of The Apprentice from Societe Brewing. The Tomme called and said that 2013 Cable Car was bottled yesterday, and that it's possibly the best batch ever. Very exciting. Tomme and Dave have decided on a release date of Thursday, October 17th at 6pm, with a simultaneous tapping at both of the Toronados. Sounds good to us. Details will follow, so take a deep breath and relax. Also, SD Beer Week starts November 1st, and as usual, we've got some good stuff lined up for your beer drinking pleasure.

While we have you: Our friends at the Carnitas Snack Shack are doing a food drive this weekend to help San Diegans in need; click on the button for all the details. Thanks, and we'll see you here for a beer.
