Yes, it's almost here. But you've got a lot of great beer to drink first.
Beginning with Steak Night tonight, a Halloween edition of 30th on 30th tomorrow, and Halloween itself on Thursday, we're dealing and wheeling to make room for SDBW!
The taps look pretty barren in here today, but then you count 'em and see that we still have 35 beers on draft. The goal is to have 50+ (mostly San Diego/ all California) IPA's and/ or hoppy ales on by Saturday morning, so expect some deals in the coming days. Tonight is Steak Night, and we suggest you come in and have a Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing Company. We've been taking a dollar for every Pliny sold (and the proceeds from the Framboise for a Cure) this month and we're sending it along to RRBC's Natalie Cilurzo to make the "Big Check" that she hands over to the Sutter Breast Care Center in Santa Rosa even bigger. We're close to $4000 so far; let's give it a big push in these last couple of days. It's nice to be in a position to be urging people to drink Pliny, btw...

Tomorrow night is a Halloween edition of 30th on 30th, and we're tapping both a cask and a keg of AleSmith's Evil Dead Red to celebrate. In addition, we'll have a number of beers marked down to $3. A great night to be in North Park, and a great night to be here. Halloween on Thursday promises more of the same, so don't be shy: come out and exercise (exorcise?) your drinking arm, because here it comes... The Guild Fest kicks off SDBW 2013 Friday the 1st at the Port Pavilion on the Broadway Pier. You can get more info and purchase tickets by clicking here:

As for us, our schedule looks like this:

Sat & Sun the 2nd & 3rd- our 4th Annual IPA Blowout!
We've got 50+ mostly San Diego, all California IPA's and/ or hoppy ales on draft and cask all weekend. Pints or 1/2 pints, come celebrate a great lineup of beers in the style that sets us apart from the rest of the world. As a special bonus, chef Colin Murray from Brooklyn Girl Eatery will be serving up his world-fabulous fried chicken on Sunday night starting at 6pm. Heaven!

Monday the 4th- An Evening with Kern River Brewing Company
All our kin from up in the hills will be loadin' up the truck and drivin' down to drink some of their tasty victuals, including a pin of cask-conditioned Citra on the bar at 7pm. Be amazed as Nate takes on cousin Rebecca in the SDBW boat race rubber match. Please, no wagering. As always, tell 'em Redneck Steve sent ya!

Tuesday the 5th- Taco Smackdown featuring chef Hanis from Carnitas Snack Shack and the SD debut of LA's Smog City Brewing
Nate & Hanis will be trying to outdo each other in the kitchen, and we'll have 8 Smog City beers on tap. The winner? You. Starts at 6pm.

Wednesday the 6th- Big Wednesday! Barrel-aged beers featuring Crooked Stave & Lost Abbey
We've got to find room to put 30+ barrel-aged beers on draft Wednesday morning! In addition to the aforementioned breweries, we'll have a badass lineup including beers from RRBC, Alpine, Rustic Ales/ Sante Adairius (!), Almanac, Sierra Nevada, North Coast, The Bruery, Ballast Point, New Belgium, Stone, Karl Strauss, Firestone Walker, Rough Draft and more! And yes, the 3 proprietary T-beers: Cable Car 2013, Toronado 25th Anniversary, and the PNC beer. Follow us on Twitter @toronadosd and stay tuned to this email channel for more info.

Thursday the 7th- Modern Times Pint Night
A handful of beers from our favorite Point Loma muckrakers. All the cool kids will be here.

Friday the 8th- Green Flash Belgian Beer Extravaganza featuring Chuck Silva!
Flanders Drive and the new St. Fuillien Collaboration beer will be among the highlights of our traditional Green Flash SDBW capper. Come muck with Chuck!

Saturday the 9th- Hangovers and Leftovers

Thanks for hanging in there, we're looking forward to a great couple of weeks of amazing beer. We'll keep you updated as to any changes and the almost inevitable additions!
