Itís one of the Southís largest craft beer festivals and itís returning to Suwanee for the fourth consecutive year.

#The Suwanee American Craft Beer Festival has become a St. Patrickís Day weekend tradition, and this year there will be more than 300 craft beers in the lineup, all hand-picked by The Beer Growler. Several breweries will feature not-yet-released or seasonal brews, while the VIP tent will hold casks brewed exclusively for the event.

#Having grown in size and popularity each year, the 2014 festival is expected to be the largest to date.

#While VIP tickets have sold out, general admission tickets, which are also expected to sell out, can be purchased for $35 at www.suwaneebeerfest.com or $45 the day of the event if still available. Tickets are also available for purchase at several sponsor locations, including Beverage Superstore 1 & 2, Mellow Mushroom, The Beer Growler and Brew Depot.

#General admission tickets include a commemorative souvenir tasting glass, unlimited sampling of more than 300 beers, live music on Suwaneeís Town Center Stage, backyard games such as cornhole, basketball and beer pong, food for purchase from Atlantaís favorite food trucks and restaurants and special deals from vendors. The entertainment lineup includes rock ní roll band Fulkinetic from Chicago and a local bluegrass group Pulliní Strings.

#Returning to the beer fest this year is the Home Brew Competition sponsored by Bob Carlton of home-brewing supply company Brew Depot. The festival is opening the Home Brew Competition to 400 registrants who will be judged by professionals across all Beer Judge Certification Program categories, which do not include meads or ciders. This competition has become nationally renowned as the 2012 Best of Show winner Josh Rachel went on to become Brew Master of Jekyll Brewing Company in 2013.

#This yearís event is also raising money to support the local nonprofit Kingdom Kids, an organization that grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
