Some new beer stuff at the T
Including casks, collaborations, ciders, and the like...
Fans of HBO's Game of Thrones won't want to miss this keg of Fire and Blood Red Ale that we just tapped. A collaboration between Ommegang and HBO, this 6.8% red ale brewed with Rye and Ancho chilies, Fire and Blood joins Ommegang's Witte Belgian white ale, their Hennepin saison, and the new Hop House, a 6% dry-hopped Belgian pale on, our beer lines today. Come on out and try some.

We are about to tap a pin of cask-conditioned Sculpin IPA (brewed with Mosaic hops) from Ballast Point which will undoubtedly taste awesome, and we're going to open at 10 am this Sunday to watch the Padres play the Marlins. We'll be serving up hot dogs and we're tapping a (rare) firkin of Lagunitas' outstanding Daytime IPA for the occasion as well. Come by and enjoy the game and this hoppy session IPA on the hand pumps.

We're really happy with the ciders we've been receiving from Virtue Cider in Michigan. Virtue founder Gregory Hall served as the Brewmaster of Goose Island Beer Company from 1991 to 2011, and then he went and interned at famed French cider producer Domaine Dupont and is now making some of the best US ciders that we've tried. Currently on draft we have the Percheron, a rustic and complex French farm house style cider, and the Spanish-styled Sidra de Nava; tart and lemony at 8%. Fans of traditional English ciders should keep an eye out for Virtue's Ledbury that we'll tap soon.

Other beers of note at the moment include the absolutely amazing, can't-believe-it's-still-on North Coast Old Stock Cellar Reserve (2 years in brandy barrels; 15.5% abv), Lost Abbey's Red Poppy ale, the Coronado/ Cigar City collab Jurata Baltic porter, Dulle Teve from Belgium's De Dolle Brouwerij, fresh kegs of The Pupil and The Publican, Sculpin, and more to come in the next couple days. We'll see you here this weekend.
