San Diego - Another great week at the T-SD
With a little something for everyone, and particularly for IPA fans.
First, the perfect salve for your Monday (and the lingering pain of yesterdays Portugal match) is our $4 local draft night: we currently have beers from Ballast Point, Green Flash, Pizza Port Carlsbad, Societe, Rough Draft, Coronado and more. As always, it starts at 6pm.
Tuesday is Steak Night, and this week we'll be pairing our local, grass-fed Flatiron steak (and as yet TBD sides) with a cask of Bourbon barrel-aged Export Stout from Pizza Port Bressi Ranch. Should be awesome, and at $14 for the staek and $4 13oz glasses of the stout all night long, you can't beat it. In addition, we're rolling out some of the best IPAs on the planet. Because we can. Beers like Pliny the Elder, the all-Simcoe-hopped Row 2, Hill 56 pale ale and Blind Pig from RRBC, SD Surprise, Nelson & Bad Boy from Alpine (yes, Alpine), The Pupil and The Apprentice from Societe, and Sculpin (draft and nitro) from BP, just to name a few. And don't overlook the Cali Gold XPA from Taps Fish House and Brewery in Brea California. Victor Novak is a "brewer's brewer"; one of those people that doesn't get a ton of notoriety but he makes excellent beer. This batch of Cali Gold is super fresh and tasting awesome... full of old-school Colombus and Amarillo hop goodness. Check it out!
On Wednesday we've got the debut (this time we mean it!) of Jenna & Chelsea's No Juke Wednesday, where the girls create a musical theme for your listening and imbibing pleasure. Our draft lineup will continue to impress, and we'll have a couple of kick-ass draft specials, so come on by and say hello!
Thursday at 7pm we're happy to be hosting the guys from local Metal band Eukaryst and a couple of eponymous beers (and more) from Pizza Port Ocean Beach brewer Ignacio "Nacho" Cervantes. We'll have a barrel-aged and a non-B/A version of this Sinister Imperial Oatmeal Stout on tap, as well as the new Chingon IPA, Toro favorite the Jetty IPA and the new Sunset Cliffs saison. We'll be playing their cd on the jukebox as well. Fans of sinister metal and sinister beer should not miss it.
We have a lot more to talk about, with good news about our bureaucratically-challenged expansion, the new Toronado Seattle, and our upcoming Firestone Walker brunch on Sunday July 13th and other things like Societe's 2nd Anniversary party this week (Congratulations guys!) but as usual we're pressed for time, and there's only so much we expect you to be able to process on a Monday. We'll check back soon. Thanks for reading, and we'll see you here for a beer.

Thursday's Eukaryst Night is on hold...
As we wait for the injured to heal. However:
We'll be open at 9am for the US v. Germany match tomorrow withe the lovely Sadie (and Miguel) taking care of you while you hope for a good result. We've got a stellar lineup of beers still on tap today, and it should carry on mostly intact into tomorrow. We'll have the Eukaryst/ Pizza Port OB night next week sometime when band member Gino's wrist has recuperated from his scheduled surgery. We'll see you tomorrow bright and early! And don't forget to come by and see Jenna and Chelsea tonight!
