    Is this forum dead?

Damn, I don't see any movement around here any more. Sad, this forum is basically where I learned to homebrew about 10 years ago. I guess everyone has gone over to Homebrew Talk. Lots of garbage to sift through there. This forum was full of pro brewers and homebrewers that new their stuff and loved helping newcomers.

Well, hopefully someone is still around here!
Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

That is not dead which can eternal lie.
And with strange aeons even death may die.

Just passing through. Brewing for the first time in nearly 10 years and thought of the guys at Realbeer. Seems that crazed 'nevermind' thread is still going strong, though.

So many of the really active members from a decade or so ago went by the wayside. I miss the parallel tasting events.

I know I'm not one of the old timers, but I miss the posts too. I haven't brewed in ages, but I did move into my first apartment! Hopefully when I have time I can make a small batch and toast the place properly

I'm still here... but yes, it's pretty much dead. I don't log on much since there's really no point, but I do log on and post still. I hope it bounces back one day!

Hey Mike! I never did get to try that KBS clone. Just had my first batch of bottlebombs. I'm in commercial window sales and dropped them off with several of my architects and they all blew up. I'm so rad.

You shouldn't be too busy. Hockey season is over.

Well in light of everyone here being dead (apart from all these zombies who have just posted and some guy who has been posting hundreds of new threads with no replies), I've just joined the dark side: Home Brew Talk forums. They seem to be an unwelcoming lot so far. Complete lack of reaction to my first post, which I have since replied to myself, answering most of my own questions.

I hope they warm up. Maybe their beers have been sour lately and they're just being grumpy! I pop in here relatively often, but I haven't brewed anything but coffee in quite some time. One of those things I'd love to get back in to though.

I guess a declining realbeer.com isn't that bad after all.

I have joined a couple other beer groups attached to FaceBook. I still like this site as it remains the most civil and friendly place on the net. And though a little late, my hockey season is 10 months long with a couple of sub ins during the off months.
