    Cascade Sang Rouge 2015 Release

    We are incredibly excited to announce the release of Sang Rouge 2015 following a three-year absence! It will be available in bottle and draft on Friday, January 12 through our wholesaler network and at both of our Portland pubs. Sang Rouge is a blend of sour red ales aged in select red wine barrels and oak puncheons for up to 24 months. Highlighting the depth and complexity of our base red ale without the influence of additional fruits or spices, Sang Rouge serves as the foundation of our “Sang” series. This rare project features notes of roasted malts, dried currants, aged red wine and toasted oak.

    2018 BC Fest Itinerary: January 12-13, 2018
    Backcountry Festival, presented by Three Creeks Brewing Company, returns to Hoodoo on Jan. 12-13 with a wide selection of 2018 all-terrain demo equipment on site. The event includes seminars Central Oregon Avalanche Association, beacon training from Corvallis Mountain Rescue, industry professionals, live music, a beer garden and a variety of races scheduled throughout the day. Trophies and prizes will be awarded to the top two male and female racers in each race. Blazin Saddles will have fleet of bikes on site to test on the terrain course in the. Kids can earn their Junior Ranger Snow Badge by participating in the four levels of winter science and wildlife.

    Interactive displays on the snow will showcase the best backcountry hardgoods and accessories, while providing skiers and riders with critical safety information. Guests can also try out the latest models of fat bikes, skies, boots, bindings and lightweight goods.
    Pack your snow tent and 800-fill sleeping bag and campout for two full nights of backcountry culture at its finest.
    This is your chance to celebrate every form of human powered touring into the backcountry. Whether you ride, glide, slide, bike, run or walk into the backcountry, you won’t want to miss BC Fest 2018.

Now we get to present some of their freshest beers, with Hawaiian Crunk, Life’s a Peach and then you Die in cans and on tap, and Dream Team Hazy Pale and Indulgence Chocolate Porter nitro on tap.     The Cascade Brewing Barrel House is excited to announce our first ever Oyster Pop Up featuring fresh Hama Hama Oysters! The event will take place on Jan. 13 from 1pm until 6pm, or until the oysters run out. We’ll have a raw bar set up inside with shucked to order oysters in the half shell; a special menu featuring Hama Hama oysters, including seafood chowder, oyster pâté, and oysters Rockefeller; plus the usual accompaniments and sour beer mignonettes. We’ll also be offering some limited rarities from the cellar and special beer pairings lined up. This is an event you won’t want to miss!

    Winter is coming! With it comes Mazama Brewing’s 5th annual Dark Days Winter Ale Festival.
    Warm up at Mazama with unique barrel aged and winter beers, ciders, and meads from local breweries. Drinks will be flowing in the Mazama brewery, taproom, and heated outdoor tent.
    Take advantage of the free shuttle that will pick up every half hour at the Campus Downward Dog.
    Food will be available for purchase from Tacos El Machin.
    The event is open to anyone 21 + over only.
    Tickets are $25 and includes a tasting glass and 20 drink tickets. Tickets can be purchased at the door the day of the event. Designated Driver pricing will be available. Cash + card are both accepted.

During dinner you will be treated to a presentation by the evening’s featured farmer. A portion of the proceeds from this dinner will support Central Oregon Locavore.
