    Recipie calculater

Does anyone know of a good online recipe calculator? I have used brewery.org in the past but thier page seems to be having some persistant difficulties. Any suggestion?

    Two:

    beersmith.com

    promash.com

I guess neither of those is technically online since they would need to be installed. I've never used beersmith, but promash is worth every penny, and the eval copy is capable, just limits the number of saves you can do.

I use Beersmith and I think it works great.

There was a good thread comparing beer smith and promash not too long ago. I think the final result of was that both were good, had strengths missing in the other, and overall it was an end user preference. Even the prices ($25+-) were in line.

    search for beersmith

I use BeerTools.com. It's free and does everything I've needed so far.

    Recipe Calculator

This is my first post to this forum but I thought you might be interested in the online recipe formulation calculator I wrote. It has been about a year in the making to get to its present form.

    Online Calculator

Yes, it is all javascript. I have been using it in one form or another for my own brews for quite a while. I recently added the color information, various bitterness formulas and some other things. It started out as several separate calculators that I combined into one. I removed a lot of the separates from my website because they were redundant and I didn't want to have to make changes to several versions of the same thing. I use it and I thought -- "What the heck, let's make it free for everyone to use."

AND . . . welcome to the boards. I peeked at some of your saved recipes on there. The Black Butte and the Red Ale caught my eye.

    Brewer's Recipe Calculator

    Thank you,

I am looking for improvements but I want to keep it simple and still be able to print the contents on a single sheet of paper.

Mr Powers. You also have a great Web site. I wish I knew half the stuff you know. I bow to the new king.
